Welcome! Well, this race has been RUN and WON! I'm honored to go from Board of Education "CANDIDATE" to "MEMBER!"
There are not enough words or ways to say thank you to so many. Here's my best try:
Thank you, God, for preparing me and equipping me to serve in this way. Thank you for patiently reminding me to trust in You, even when things don’t make sense. Everything good in me is You; thank you for Jesus.
Thank you to my beautiful family for your support, and especially to my 10 year old campaign manager (and future “radical extremist”) who rode shotgun with me to knock on nearly 1000 doors…you are my pearl!
To my new friends and old friends, to everyone who prayed for me, encouraged me, hosted one of my signs, gave financial support, or kindly opened your door to an unexpected visitor and patiently listened and shared your thoughts with me, thank you and God bless you! I could not have kept going without you.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me! I promise to do my very best to represent you well and help our district accomplish great things for our students.
