Because she knows parents' voices matter.
Kirsten Workman is a Christian, a wife and mother, a registered nurse and a professional educator. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kirsten has practiced nursing since 2009 and has several years of full-time teaching experience as a university-level nursing instructor. She is a patriot as well as an active volunteer in our community and her church.
As a Lansing High School parent, Kirsten grew more and more concerned over the political influences shaping our curriculum, the marginalization of parents’ voices in education, and the decreasing academic readiness among students.
Kirsten Workman would like to serve God and Lansing families by offering her education and experience as a teacher, a parent, and a nurse to the Lansing Board of Education.
